The Kyokushin Karate School of The Serpent was established in 1981 to promote the practice of traditional Japanese karate in the United States. The mission of the school is to study the Kyokushinkai system of karate as taught by Sosai Matsutatsu Oyama, and, to teach Kyokushin karate to those who want to learn the true way of the martial artist.
     I started my martial arts (Aikido) training in 1959. I have been training in Kyokushin karate since 1972. Martial arts training has rewarded me in many ways in my daily life. It will reward you too!
